Here are some main questions you might have in regards to my professional photography sessions.

Professional photographers have extended expertise and years of experience in their respective fields. After years of exploring various photography genres, I have decided to fully dedicate myself to portrait photography with a strong emphasis on business photography.

I am responsible for ensuring that you look best in your images by guiding you through all the steps of the way: selecting outfits and accessories, posing you during session, while ensuring best lighting techniques are used, through selecting your most powerful images and later editing them to end up with astounding final photographs.

In times when anyone owns a digital camera, having loads of nice, average images is easy, but to have extraordinary ones, catching attention of our friends, colleagues or potential employees, requires hiring professional.

I have had people contact me, to finally decided to have their photos taken with someone else at lower price. Well, oftentimes, they were back to me to have their photos retaken… and such situation show me how valuable my professional photography services really are.

My studio is located in Al Egla, Doha, Qatar (beginning of Lusail, right next to Doha Golf Club). Please see attached map in contact.

I work Sunday to Thursday.

Sessions take place between 9am – 1 pm and 4pm – 7pm and need to be pre-booked ahead of time.

I don’t offer “walk – in” service.

I don’t directly provide hair and make up services in my studio, but I will share with you list of hair and make up artists in Doha, which would be best fit for our photoshoot needs. Usually they come to your place, prepare you and then you head directly to my studio. Cost of this service depends on the particular stylist, and is in range of 350 – 450 QR.

Each package includes some complimentary images. You can purchase as many extra images as you would like (after seeing your online viewing gallery) at the rate of 100 QR per image.

You will see the raw images we took during our session together in your online viewing gallery.

Once you select your favorite photos, I will hand edit them for you.

I am strong believer of having few perfected images, instead of a bunch average ones sitting on your disc. Hence I will be providing only edited ones.

You can compare it to a restaurant: the chef is not gonna serve you raw food, he will cook it and season it based on his secret recipe, and then let you enjoy the final meal.

Same with me.

From the moment you choose your photos in your online gallery, the official time is 15 working days. However, usually they are ready much earlier – within couple of days.

If you are in a hurry, I do offer “fast editing service” at 100 QR per photo, and those are ready within 24 hours.

Yes, I can do lifestyle session in your office or house. There is extra charge of 1000 – 1500 QR depending on location and your needs, as I will need to pack up equipment, travel to your place, unpack, do the session, pack up again and then unpack again in my studio. As you can see that takes lot of extra time and effort.

Please reach out to me via phone, whatsapp, email or on social medias first. Before I book anyone in, I need to check, if we are good fit for each other. Once it’s confirmed that we would like to work together, I will pencil you in my separate booking system and send you email with details. Once you pay booking fee required to secure your spot, I will forward you further information and we will start planning our session together. The rest of the payment is due on day of our session.

Booking fee is usually paid through bank transfer to the company bank account. The remaining balance is due on the day of session – either in cash or again by bank transfer.

Professional photography experience I provide in my studio is totally different than the one you have when having your passport photos taken. It requires lot of my time and involvement to ensure we get best possible results.

Let me tell you what goes into it:

BEFORE THE SESSION:

  • Time to get to know you and ensure we are got fit for each other
  • Booking you in – setting date and time, sending initial information
  • Confirming your booking (upon payment of booking fee, rest is due at session time) and sending follow up, detailed info
  • Follow up – exchanging ideas, discussing your outfits, help with choosing them, help to book make up/hair stylist, if required, deciding on backdrops and overall vibe of the session
  • Make a detailed plan of our session together
  • Setting up the studio

So before I even have you in my studio I spend 1-2 hours on “prep work” to ensure our session is as smooth as possible

DURING THE SESSION:

  • I do take care of everything during your time in my studio: I will ensure to create nice relaxing atmosphere with background music, I will guide you throught all the poses, so you only need to show up and the rest will be done by me. Even if we working with only one look, I will use various posing, styling and lightening techniques to ensure that your gallery contains variaty of images to choose from

Usually sessions take minimum of 30 mins and depending the number of looks we will be working on, can easily go to 2 hours.

AFTER THE SESSION:

  • Clean up of the studio
  • Preselection of images: discarding all images cosidered “unusable”
  • Upload of your gallery and sending detailed instructions

This takes between 1-2 hours of my timing, depending on the amount of images we took during our session

  • Once you select your final images (I also offer help with selecting best looking images), I will start with editing (gallery gives option to add comments in regards to special editing requests)
  • Editing of the images
  • Preparing the files – high and low resolution, and also black and whites
  • Delivery of the photos

This takes significant amount of my time as I am very particular with my edits and average editing time is 45 mins per photo.

So as you can see executing session from A to Z takes significant amount of time, session itself being “the shortest part”.

Let’s not forget about additional factors, which  have influence on my current pricing structure. To name the few:

  • Cost of running legal business in Qatar
  • Maintanance of the equipment
  • Purchasing new equipment to improve with each photoshoot
  • Upgrading computer & storage solutions
  • Software subscriptions (Lightroom, Photoshop, Website hosting, Booking system etc.)
  • Constant training and education

I hope after this breakdown, you will be able to understand why I charge what I charge 
